Weight Loss: Obesity, Diets, and Calories

   Vegetables  150gm +salad (Colorful   Vegetables)
   Curd(fat free)  100gm
 Tea  Tea(no sugar)  1 cup
   Snacks  20 gm soya   nuts/sprouts/Paneer/Marie biscuits
Pre  Dinner  Soup  1 cup
 Dinner  Lentils/Chicken  30gm(1 bowl)/Dalia/Brown Rice
   Vegetables  150gm
   Curd  100gm

  • Consume more veggies - add them to each meal.
  • Drink lots of water
  • Try to eat smaller plates in order to eat smaller servings.
  • Work out from 30 minutes to one hour a day.
  • Select minimum processed whole foods:
  • Wholegrain cereals
  • Entire fruit (no fruit juice)
  • Walnuts, seeds, beans, and other healthy protein sources (fish and poultry)


Caloric intake depends on different factors such as age and activity level. Most women need between 1,600 and 2,400 calories per day to maintain weight. Most males require 2,000 to 3,000 calories. Less food may lead to weight loss.
